Working Well

The Working Well program has information resources available free of charge for water well owners and others interested in learning and promoting how to protect and maintain water wells. The program offers province-wide, hands-on workshops for well owners to learn the basics of groundwater, well construction, common well problems, contamination risks, importance of well reclamation and best management practices.

Due to COVID-19, Working Well workshops are being held online to ensure well owners are still provided with the information to manage and maintain their wells throughout the pandemic. Online workshops are still held in partnership with local hosts, such as a rural mmunicipality or watershed planning and advisory council (WPAC).
